Peter & the Lost Boys - Poster Design
Design Challenge:
The Lost boys Design Challenge set out to develop a headlining event poster for Peter Pan and his gang of friends know as the Lost Boys. This Design needed to reflect the history that the name Peter Pan carries from the play by James Barrie and the magical legacy left by Disney, but also read like a concert poster.
Solution:
The solution was to create a remix of all concepts to ultimately designing a collectable piece of fan artwork. Concepts were created in Adobe Illustrator and plates printed on a laser cutter. Plates were then mounted at type height on a Hamilton type press. Inks were mixed and applied using an ink roller and then four passes through the press bed. A series of 30 were created 15 in blue and 15 in green.
