The Daily Prophet -Typography Challenge
Design Challenge:
The Daily Prophet Design Challenge set out to create a tangible edition of a fictional news paper, imagined by J.K. Rowling. This challenge involved rethinking the ascetic set by the movies but keeping true to the identity of the works created by J.K. Rowling.
Solution:
The most exciting part of this challenge was the whimsicality of the typographical exploration. It was decided early on that this piece would be type heavy as opposed to picture heavy, the intent being to focus of the brilliant writing of J. K. Rowling.

This was achieved by using both Adobe Illustrator and Indesign to manipulate text into irregular but legible forms. One exploration included placing a Gif to depict the moving pictures as indicated in the books. This piece is a tribute to this classic piece of literature.
