CrossOver The United Artists - Logo Design
Design Challenge:
This design challenge was requested by my very talented Animation friend Michael Konyar also know as Supermicheal98. He came to me asking for my help redesigning his guild logo for Cross Over the united artist.The concept behind the CrossOver logo was intended to represent a portal where artist draw renown characters in their own styles. I.e the characters cross over into a different universe.
Solution:
The solution for this project came from Micheal's original concept molding together the C and the O to create a portal shape. Perfect for the comic world, with the use of a neutral but tech like typeface, this gave the mark a more dynamic in movement feel as if action was taking place. In addition a dynamic application of colors furthered this transition feeling. Lastly replacing the O with the logo mark truly pulled together a visual explanation of the marks meaning.
